Vernissage Market is Yerevan’s largest and most colorful open-air bazaar, where you can find handicrafts, folk art, Armenian silver, and souvenirs. It is located near Republic Square and stretches along Aram and Buzand Streets. The market is especially lively and active on weekends, though you can also find traders on weekdays.
Originally, Vernissage was established by local artists in the 1980s. It started with small art exhibits but quickly grew into a full-scale art and craft market.

Today, visitors can find a wide variety of traditional and handmade items here, including khachkars, carved woodwork, Armenian national instruments like the duduk and zurna, silver jewelry, Armenian carpets, embroideries, ceramics, Soviet-era memorabilia, paintings, musical instruments, coins, old currency, taraz (traditional Armenian clothing), and more.
Vernissage shop is a great place to experience the work of Armenian craftsmen and feel the Armenian spirit through handmade souvenirs.
